The latest Sims 3 Expansion – Ambitions – is set to release on June 1st. In it, you can finally control your sims’ work lives action by action.
In the Sims 1 and 2 games all you could do was send them to work and the’d arrive on the front step of their house in a matter of (sped-up) hours. In the base game of The Sims 3 you have presets where once they go to work you can order them to them chill out, overwork, or socialize in ways that are either beneficial (getting to know coworkers) or somewhat detrimental (sucking up to the boss) to their career path. This expansion proposes to change all that by giving the player absolute control over his or her sims’ actions while on the job.
A lot of hardcore fans of the second game will complain that Seasons and Pets features recycled in all past versions of the game will be delayed yet again, but I could really give a poo about training a dog that makes more money than me. Frankly, I’m just psyched that I can be a firefighting ghost-hunting mad scientist detective!
